Since today is Walt Disney's birthday my husband and I took a ride last night to take this photo of Walt Disney's birth place, although it may not look like it did in 1901 when he was born, it still does exist. When he was born it was 1249 Tripp Avenue, in 1909, the address of the house changed to 2156 North Tripp Avenue, he was born on the second floor, in the home that his father built.
Last year we where able to go to The Walt Disney Family Museum, here are the few photos that they allowed you to take in the first room of the museum:
This is a photo of the furniture that was in Walt's apartment above the Firehouse at Disneyland, note the photos of Walt's parents on the wall.Here is the special Oscar that was given to Walt Disney for Snow White, by Shirley Temple.
This is a special award given to Walt Disney by the US Coast Guard.
