I see
fun, music and dancing just up ahead! Jake has a secret Admit it-when you hear
the name Jake and the Never Land Pirates you, even for a moment, wish you could
be a part of that mischievous but good-hearted group. For a few of you, you may be scratching your
head trying to recall which Lost Boy Jake was. Fear not-here’s all you need to
know about this dastardly band Jake is the young pirate who was given the task to protect Never
Land with his crew when Peter Pan left the island to explore the
outside world. Before Peter left, Jake was given a wooden sword made from the
Forever Tree in Never Land with special abilities so he can be a good leader.
Jake’s band of pirates include Cubby, Izzy and also has a pet sidekick, his
parrot Skully.
Jake
is the captain of a buccaneering ship named Bucky and sails places with his
crew. We quickly learn that Peter was
right in charging Jake with the leadership of the Lost Boys, Jake is a natural
born leader, handsome, fearless, caring, and daring who cares very much for his
crew and ship and, like Peter, is easily annoyed by Captain Hook’s schemes as
is the rest of his crew. In spite of their rivalry however, Jake has saved
Hook's life a few times showing his good, honorable, and compassionate side and
this week Jake and the folks at Disney Jr. have something to help you “join the
