2014 Disneyland Park Ticket Price Increases

For those planning on a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, this news is just in from the Disneyland Resort. The Disneyland resort spontaneously raised ticket prices overnight, and it appears that they have eliminated their popular SoCal Annual Pass although their SoCal Select Pass remains.  Although it still holds true, that the longer you stay, the less you pay, in these already tough economic times, what will these price increases affect your plans to visit in the future?  What are your thoughts on these latest price hikes ?
