WANTED - Blogger with Temporary Insomnia to Cover the Monstrous 24 Hour Event

The Disney Gals are searching for a fellow Disney-lover that will be attending the all-nighters that are set take place this weekend at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the Disneyland Resort in California. No blogging experience needed!





One of the things that the Disney Gals love most about our blog is that we've created a platform for any Disney-lover to share their experiences, even if they don't have their own blog. We love our guest authors and really enjoy hearing different prospectives, memories and experiences ~ Disney-style, of course. This is no exception and since The Disney Gals will not be attending this event, we will be turning the reins over to you to tell us, and our readers, all about it. If you are new to blogging, don't worry, we will gladly assist you in creating a professional article. All that is needed from you is your memories! Now for those of you that may not know what we're talking about, the Disney Parks will be hosting a Monstrous 24-Hour Event and for one day and one night only, Guests will have the chance to spend 24 whole hours inside select Disney parks! From 6:00 AM, May 24 to 6:00 AM, May 25, 2013, on each coast, you can experience monster madness inside Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort, as well as Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park* at the Disneyland Resort. From special entertainment and Monsters-themed merchandise to frightening food and boo-verages, this "All-Nighter" is sure to be one scary good time!
 
Here's what to expect at "A Day and Night at Walt Disney World Resort" in the Magic Kingdom with insider tips provided by Disney Parks:

Enjoy the fun when Mike and Sulley take their turn as Grand Marshals of the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. Watch along and wave, or make your way to an after-dark screening of Disney•Pixar's Monsters, Inc. in Tomorrowland.

For a fun and fancy free Character encounter, join the delightful duo known as Chip 'n' Dale when they drop in to Town Square. Take some time to take some pictures, or head on inside Town Square Theater where you'll find Mickey and Minnie.

Haven't quite had enough? Then fill this magical cup of fun all the way to the brim and boogie down at a late night dance party in and around the courtyard of Cinderella Castle!

Over at the Disneyland Resort, hit up the dance floor for "Rock Around the Clock" at Disneyland Park! Her's what to expect on the West Coast:

Get your groove going in Tomorrowland—courtesy of the TLT "Monstrous" Dance Club—or make your way to Mickey's Toontown, where you can party alongside some of your favorite Disney Characters.

Looking for a more royal affair? Then enter the new Fantasy Faire Royal Theatre as it transforms into a late-night dance hall—complete with live music—or cross the Esplanade into Disney California Adventure Park*, where a variety of memory-making opportunities await!

Hit the road to Hollywood Land where you'll find the freshly built Monsters University "dorms," and check out the new Monsters University-themed float leading the always popular Pixar Play Parade. Don't forget to stop by for a monstrous meet up where you can snap some photos with Mike and Sulley, and capture these magic moments for a lifetime!

* While some "Monstrous Summer" activities will continue to take place at Disney California Adventure Park, portions of this theme park will be closed, including Cars Land, Paradise Pier and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM for a Grad Nite special event. Additionally, Radiator Springs Racers will remain closed for the remainder of the night after 3:00 AM. Other attractions may also close early due to maintenance or other reasons. Please check the Entertainment Times Guide on the day of the event for a more complete listing of scheduled closures.

If you're looking to bring home something special from this all-night event, Disney's got you covered! As part of Limited Time Magic, you can purchase a Sulley-inspired ear hat or a commemorative 24 Hours "It's Eye-Mazing" T-shirt. Both will be available at select locations, including:
  • Emporium in Magic Kingdom park
  • Emporium in Disneyland Park
  • Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure Park
There will be be a whole new series of sweets that Disney is rolling out just for this occasion! Be on the lookout for Monstrous cupcakes, cake pops and green and blue cotton candy, along with some new takes on long-time classics like the Monsters-inspired Mike and Sulley decorative apples.

With so many delightfully monstrous surprises in store, this 24-Hour "All-Nighter" is set to be one magic event! No matter where you walk through the gates, you're sure to find an unforgettable time—all part of Limited Time Magic!
