Happy Graduation!

Happy Graduation Day

Tuesday is normally Trip Talk Tuesday but today we are embarking on a trip that is just a little different from our visits to one of the Disney Resorts. We are taking this journey along with countless other families across the country –it’s the journey that Graduation brings as young people finish one part of their life as they look forward to the next. So whether you have a child that is graduating college, high school, 1st grade, preschool or everything in between today is a day for celebration.  Zack, Sammy, Dennis, Makena and Connor, as well as all of the Disney Gal kids and grandkids today we celebrate you!

It has sped by with lightning speed. Not just this year, but also your whole lives so far. You are our miracles,-our reasons for being. You make everything make sense in our universe and let us know why we were put on this earth. Throughout the years, your imagination s have taken you to new worlds filled with adventure. Now as you start a new journey, keep these life lessons you have learned along the way close to your heart.

Stay true to yourself The young person you have become is exactly who you are supposed to be. Hold on tight to your dream and never be afraid to go after them, despite what anyone else may say, including us! Always, always, always, believe in the possibilities and live YOUR dreams!

Be good to yourself you are strong, funny, honest and incredible human beings. Never stray from those qualities. Taking care of yourself and being good to yourself  will help you  to be good to others and when you are good to others, it will come back to you in so many ways .

Be good to others Your amazing and kind heart is what draws people to you. Treat people well and they will treat you the same way in return. But always know that even if they don’t you’ve still done the right thing. Know that the most important words in life are “Please”, “Thank You”, “I’m Sorry” and most importantly, “I love You”. Those words will carry you through any challenge you may face.

When in question, wait Sometimes you are not going to know what to do. Sometimes after you've asked ten people for advice, you still won't know what to do. When this happens, just wait. Wait. Ask for the answers and they will come. Ask God. Ask the Universe. Ask your mom.  It doesn't matter. The answers will come. There’s a million reasons to take “the easy way out”. The real courage comes when you take the first step down the road of life, even when you cannot see where you’re going.

We are here for you We have  given you all the tools you need to live and love life to the fullest; to be strong, independent people  ready to venture out on  own. Moreover, as much as we are looking forward to seeing you spread your wings and enjoy your life, know you may fall from time to time. When you do, know that we are here for you. We will always be here for you. There is nothing that you could ever do that would mean we would love you any less than we do today.

We love you Through the good times and the not so good, through the easy times and the not so easy times, always know that we love you. Always have. Always will.  You have incredible lives ahead of you.
Walt Disney said it best   “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” In other words, live the life that you are meant to live. Believe in the possibilities and always, always live your dreams. We are so very proud of all of you.
All of our love, and so much more
Your Proud Moms
