Spice Up Your Disneyland Visit at the Paradise Garden Grill

Last month, our friends over at The Adult Side of Disney asked if I'd like to share some on my Disneyland insider eating suggestions for visiting Disneyland. The first place that came to mind was The Paradise Garden Grill. Nestled in the back corner of Disney California Adventure Park lies a little slice of the exotic and spicy styling of the Middle East. The Paradise Garden Grill is perfect for when you’re in search of a little something out of the ordinary. Guaranteed to wake up your taste buds, the Garden Grill is the ideal choice whether you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, or you’re a vegetarian or vegan in search of a satisfying meal.

Although the menu choice is small, the ability to customize your kebab combination keeps regulars and first timers alike trekking to the back of California Adventure Park for a fresh and delectable change.

Located within the marketplace eatery on the Paradise Pier Boardwalk, dining here allows you to create your own Mediterranean style skewers topped with your choice of mouth-watering sauces.  Protein selections include grilled steak, lemon-oregano chicken, ground beef kefta (a type of ground seasoned meat) or tofu and vegetables.  Add to that your choice of sauces seasoned to perfection including Moroccan chili, Chimichurri, Tandoori Spiced Yogurt or Tzatziki and you’ll have yourself a symphony of tastes.  Each selection comes with rice pilaf, a refreshing cucumber salad and grilled pita bread to complete your feast on a platter.

Prefer something a little lighter? I highly recommend the Greek salad boasting pepperoncini, marinated olives, and feta lightly coated with a lemon-oregano dressing. Be sure not to miss out on the freshly made baklava. Guests 21 and older can pair their middle eastern inspired eats with Blue Moon or Samuel Adams beer.  The Paradise Garden Grill even caters to the younger travelers among you with such offerings as a peanut butter pita wrap or their own version of kefta  -turkey beef sliders.
As we all know, no Disney meal is complete without dessert and this restaurant is no exception, saving the best for last. Be sure to save room for their strawberry brownie and strawberry skewer served with caramel, chocolate sauce and mini marshmallows. This mouth-watering dessert is reason alone to eat here.  Now the only question is-what are you waiting for? If it’s something quick, different and exotic that is calling to you, the Paradise Garden Grill is the perfect dining spot for you while enjoying your day at Disney California Adventure Park.
