Meet Ellen M. Cusack

Meet Ellen Cusack

I’m Ellen M. Cusack and I am from Point Pleasant N.J. a small beach community. I have been married 21 years to my High School sweetheart and best friend.
I have two very active teenage boys that take surfing to the next great wave break, keep things exciting on the soccer field and swim on the Varsity Swim Team at school.
I am a true believer in Faith first, Trust and lots of Pixie Dust and love everything Disney 365! Disney runs through my veins and I can’t wait to plan our next adventure whether it be to Walt Disney World or sailing the Caribbean Sea on the Disney Dream!
I am grounded by my beliefs and true blessings in my life.
I am a retired kindergarten teacher and now pursue the art of designing necklaces with sea glass and beads and other fun materials, I love to create new things.
I’m also a volunteer for my boy’s school on the PTA as the communications specialist (this just means I keep the students and families in the know about school happenings). It keeps me busy and lets me learn new things and invent new ways to share the communications.
Believe in your dreams and they will come shining through!

Meet Cheryl Giardi

Cheryl Giardi first visited Disney World in 1976 and immediately became “hooked”.  Countless voyages later Cheryl enjoys navigating her family’s adventures to Disney and helping of others right down to smallest details.  When planning trips for others she knows how to make the most if ye pieces of eight.

Cheryl docks by the sea in Cape Cod, MA.  She shares the deck with her first mate and her two adventure seeking buccaneer boys who are 8 and 10 years of age.  September through June her crew expands to a swashbuckling crew of Second Graders at the local elementary school.
Her family sets sail to Disney World as often as often as they can and she looks forward to sharing her bounty of tips and treasures with ye hearties!

Hakuna Matata Monday-Family + Friends=Disney Gals

Dreams Can Come True

Once upon a time last June a lone gal who never wore bows, who shuddered at the thought of wearing glitter or sparkles and whose favorite princess happened to be Ursula made the off the cuff comment (as she often does) “Am I the only person in the universe left that doesn’t have a Disney Blog?” Suddenly from out of the forest came the 11 most amazing, gifted, talented and more importantly kindest and caring Disney princess loving, pink and sparkly gals that ever walked the planet and the Disney Gal team was born.  Truthfully, how does one even begin to find the words to adequately define something so indescribable?

Meet Disney Gal Laura

"Hi everyone! My name is Laura. I am a single, working, mom to Connor (4) and birthmom to Drew(2). To say that I love Disney would be an understatement! I was born, raised and still reside in Tampa, FL so, I am pretty close to the magic.

I remember visiting the parks when I was young. We always went around Christmas or my birthday and stayed at the Contemporary. I still remember watching the monorail going through. Disney always stuck with me over the years and I even dragged two friends with my on my 16th birthday.

My real obsession started when my oldest son was born. We went for his first birthday and we were both hooked. I had to get a pass because we were going so often! I love that my son never gets tired of going and always asks if we are going today. We now go every year for his birthday and several times during the year. Christmas at Disney is so magical! I love that my youngest son also gets to be part of the magic with his wonderful family. I have pictures of his first trip when he was just a few months old and it fills my heart with joy.

Meet Disney Gayle Turner

In 1955, two events happened that changed the world -Disneyland and I were both born. Five children, four grandchildren and millions of visitors later, I am happy to report that Disney and I are still going strong!   Hi, I’m Gayle from beautiful Northern California. I am a mom, Grammy, teacher, director of a free after school theater program and I am a Disney a Holic. I cannot remember a time when Disney was not a part of my life. My first trip to Disneyland was November 1955. I can still vividly see my mom trying to hold me while balancing on her too high for walking heels as we boarded the World Famous Jungle Cruise. To this day, it remains my all-time favorite ride. Someday, when I grow up, I am going to be Captain of the Jungle Boat. To say I’ve been to Disneyland more than a few times would be an understatement.  I can remember the Matterhorn as scaffolding, and a time gone by when the showpiece of Tomorrowland, the TWA Moonliner was the tallest structure in the Park, even taller than Sleeping Beauty Castle. I rode donkeys (yes real, not animatronic) and traveled by stagecoaches pulled by horses through the trails of Frontierland. Disneyland and I have certainly transformed and changed over the last half century, but every time I walk through those magical gates, it’s as though I am experiencing it all for the first time.

Meet Disney Gal Kelly

Hey all!

My name is Kelly and I am from the South side of Chicago, along with my husband, three children, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and a lazy beagle. It's a loud and crazy house to say the least! I was lucky enough to leave my "real" job as a Financial Analyst to raise our children. Now I have been able to start my own cake business, coach my daughter's softball team, be VP of our middle school PTSA, and talk everyone's ear off about all things Disney.

My obsession with Disney started when I was a preteen and my family drove cross country to Disneyland. I vividly remember standing in a crowd, staring up at the fireworks, when a young boy standing next to me reached over and held my hand. It was pure magic. Even though I have grown up since then, I still find that magic in every visit.

Meet Disney Gal Judy

Hi, I am Judy and I live in Chicago (yes really in Chicago) with my husband Paul and our two rescue dogs Caleb, who kind of reminds us of Pluto (he is a bloodhound) and Claudine who is a Bluetick Coonhound.

I am not sure if my husband knew what he was getting into when we got married, but my love of Disney started when I seven and my family took a cross-country trip in a VW Bus from Chicago to LA and Disneyland! I got to go again when I graduated from 8th grade, because my Uncle lived in southern California.  As I did not have a lot of money back then the only thing I could really afford where a couple of small plates with Mickey Mouse on them.  Then my Grandmother moved to Florida, not too far from Walt Disney World, and we were able to spend summers with her and we would go to Disney and I added to my plate collection.  When we got married our first real vacation together and my husband’s first ever plane ride and vacation not near his home, was to Walt Disney World, and so I now have him “hooked” on Disney too.  We have more than those small plates, but it is also a mutual enjoyment of all things Disney.  We have attended quite a few special events at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World and enjoy taking the tours that are offered at all the parks.  I have helped quite a few people plan there Disney vacations and I am a member of a local moms group and have help quite a few of them too.
